Arrakis is a vast world and Players explore it best with vehicles at hand. Here are some useful tips on how to care for them at all times:     

Shelter

Avoid vehicle damage from Sandstorms by learning their cycles and stay close to big rock formations, caves, buildings and other world structures for shelter. The safety status is displayed in your vehicle's management menu (Hold [F] near your vehicle -> "Vehicle Management Menu") under ''Decay''. 

Store Your Vehicle

Keep a Vehicle Backup Tool with you when driving a Light Ornithopter or Sandbike. A stored vehicle cannot take damage, be lost or destroyed.  

Repair

Carry welding wire with you to repair any damage sustained by your vehicle.

Disassemble

As a last resort against dire situations, disassemble your vehicle with a Welding Torch, module by module, and store it in your inventory to prevent its destruction. 

Spare Parts

Stock up on extra modules in case one is destroyed and beyond repair.
