In Dune: Awakening, there is a tool that allows you to safely store any base that you own, alongside all of its placeables and resources, in order to keep it safe for an indefinite amount of time.
Here are all the details you need to know about this feature:

How does it work?

If you've already unlocked this tool in the Iron Tier of your Research Menu - Construction tab -, you can craft it either in your Fabricator or in your Survival Fabricator.

Start with:

  • Equipping the tool;
  • Point it to your base that you wish to store;
  • Click in the ''Backup Base'' option to have your base and alll its contents - except assembled vehicles -, will be stored in your Base Reconstrucion Tool.

While in it, you do not have to worry about power or taxes.
Whenever you wish to retrieve your base, equip the tool again:

  • Select ''Place Blueprint'';
  • Choose a spot;
  • Adjust the hologram in accordance with the geography of the new location plus in any particular way you like;
  • Click to place it.

  Here are some notes to keep in mind:

  • Only the owner of a base can store it;
  • You can store up to 3 bases you own;
  • If the subfief-console is on terrain, the base will not be stored. Please place a foundation beneath your subfief-console;
  • If there are buildables attached to the base, but outside of the subfief-console's limits, the base will not be stored. Please have everything inside the subfief's limits;
  • The Base Reconstruction Tool cannot be lost upon death (even to the Sandworm);
  • If the tool belongs to player A and player B gets it, player B will only be able to see the bases that they've stored.

What does it NOT store?

  • Assembled vehicles are not stored and will fall;
  • Vehicles that have started to be assembled and not finished will not be stored;
  • Additional permissions will not be stored;

All of the above apply even when the base is restored in a different Sietch.

What are the restrictions?

  • The tool can only be used in Hagga Basin - both for backing up and restoring.
  •  The base cannot be restored in an area overlapping with another landclaim.
  • The base cannot be restored in an area overlapping with a ''no building zone''.
  • Bases with Advanced Subfief Consoles cannot be placed in Hagga Basin South.
  • Placement isn’t possible while another player stands in the destined landclaim, even if the player is not overlapping with any buildable blueprint.
  • It’s not possible to restore a base if it’s overlapping with a vehicle. If the vehicles are in the landclaim but not overlapping with buildable or placeable, then it’s allowed.
