With the intent of rebalancing server populations and build more solid communities on Arrakis, some low-populated servers will but shutting down. To help players transfer their characters onto new Worlds, a Server Migration process is currently ongoing until May 26th. Here's all you need to know!

My World will be Closed: How to Prepare

If your World is listed below, your best way to prepare is to transfer early and claim your spot in a new World and Sietch on our Official Servers.

You may also transfer to a Private or Self-Hosted world, but keep in mind that it is a one-way trip and you won’t be able to transfer that character back to an Official World.

Before transferring your character, we recommend: 

  • Make sure you own a Base Reconstruction Tool; 
    NOTE: Please make sure to use this tool and not a Solido Replicator.
  • Disassemble your vehicles and Carrier Ornithopter Cargo Containers and store them in base storage;
  • Modify your base to make it easier to rebuild in another location, as this will give you more flexibility by making the base placeable in more locations;
  • Use the Base Reconstruction Tool to save your base to your character;
  • Choose the World you want to migrate to, and scout the base location before choosing to settle down; 
    NOTE: transferring away from a closing World after the release of 1.3.20.0 does not consume a Token.
  • Moving between Sietches does not consume a Transfer Token, so you can go to your desired location and check multiple Sietches before you settle down;
  • Make sure to take everything you need with you, as characters cannot return to closing worlds once they've transferred.

My World is now Closed: Didn't transfer my Character

Don't worry. We've packed up things for you!

When the World closes: 

  • You are on the Server Browser and you can choose which World to migrate to
  • Your bases can be redeployed in a new World using the Base Reconstruction Tool
  • All your vehicles and Carrier Ornithopter Cargo Containers have been backed up in your Vehicle Backup Tool, which will have a new “Auto Transfer” section. This section will allow you to recover all of your transferred vehicles. 

If you do not already own a Base Reconstruction Tool and Vehicle Backup Tool, you will receive one through the Claim Rewards menu. 

To claim it: 

  • Press Escape (or Start on controller)
  • Open Claim Rewards
  • Collect your Base Reconstruction Tool and Vehicle Backup Tool 

If your base was designed in a way that it only works for a very specific location, in a specific position, you can use Snap to Origin in the tool to reposition it automatically to its original location. If the location is already taken in one Sietch, you can try another one. 

Vehicles stored in the Vehicle Backup Tool will transfer normally.
